The entire TNIV is still available as a free download. It is in the PDF format. I use it often as I work with different versions on my computer.

I have broken down and put the TNIV pdf on my desktop to use for comparison in bible study. Its tendency to push the envelope in wording and textual choices make it a useful parallel text.

Hi Chuck. Could you give more details on what you mean there? Could you give a couple (or more, if you have time) of examples from the TNIV?

Hi Glenn. It's an appropriate question. I did some cleanup of the blog recently. I felt that that poll had been up long enough. I moved it to my Bible Translation surveys webpage. (It's now the last poll on that page.) I wrestled with whether or not to make any more comments on the results. We had already had a fair amount of discussion and comments about them earlier. I decided that there wasn't much else to say about them. I'd be happy to have a post about the results if you think it would be helpful.

OK, Glenn, I have restored a yellow background poll to the margin of this blog. Is this the poll you were thinking about? If so, I can post about it and we can discuss it further before I remove it for good from this blog. We have already discussed it some. This is the blog which has wrong wordings on the Results page. They do not match the correct wordings on the Poll voting page. There should be comments about that problem which can be read by clicking on the View button, including a comment from you about the problem.
Back on the original topic, I downloaded the TNIV to my laptop from your link, Wayne.
Thanks! It's a beautiful Bible to read, very clear text and easy on the eyes. And now I can read it when I'm not online!

Maybe it was on the BBB. Maybe it was just in the remarks on the poll, as you suggested in your comment.
In any case, we can discuss it further in a post here.
Well, I can sort of help a little bit.
It definitely wasn't discussed/analysed on BBB & apart from the few comments on the Poll results page there has been no discussion regarding this particular Poll on TNIVT.
So, no, there has been no discussion or analysis of this Poll anywhere, really.
